Beauchesne-Sevigny will compete in the women's K-4 500-metre event in Beijing. She attended her first senior world championships in 2006. She started paddling when she was eight years old. She studies nursing at the CEGEP de Trois-Rivieres. Her brother Gabriel will also paddle for Canada at the Summer Games.
