Mylanie Barré Bio
Barré will compete in the women's kayak doubles 500-metre event in Beijing. She also competed in Athens in 2004, placing seventh in the doubles event. Her parents both competed in kayak events at Olympic Games, with her mother Alexandra winning two medals in 1976 for Hungary. In 1984, Alexandra paddled for Canada and won a silver and bronze medal in Los Angeles. Her father Denis competed for Canada at the 1972 and 1976 Olympics.
